AI Energy group, an Integrated Energy and Petroleum, Logistics and Support Services company in collaboration with International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) have provided training aimed at equipping bunker industry players to be able to provide excellent service in the sector.
The training course formed part of the IBIA Africa Bunker and shipping conference held in Accra from September 5 to 7th 2023.
The training also offered participants the opportunity to acquire critical knowledge and learn about new developments in the bunkering sector.
AI Energy Group is an Organization in the Down, Mid and Upstream Sectors of the Oil and Gas Industry dedicated to Total Client Satisfaction”.
The training focused on bunkering, practical, commercial and operational, technical issues and current regulations mainly pertaining to traditional marine fuels.
Other topics considered at the training include alternative fuels that are expected to have significant relevance to Africa considering factors like availability, storage and delivery, delivery adaptation ease as well as economic considerations.
Among some of the esteemed Industry experts on bunkering who led the training programme include Nigel Draffin while Participants were presented with 'IBIA certificate of attendance.
Some of the products supplied by AI Energy Group include premium gasoline, marine gas oil, and kerosene liquefied Petroleum gas.
Others include residual fuel oil, lubricants, automotive gas oil among others.
The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) was formed in 1992 to provide an international forum to address the concerns of all sectors of the bunker Industry.
Membership includes ship owners, operators, bunker suppliers, traders, brokers, storage companies, surveyors, port Authorities among several others.
The event also brought together over 200 participants who are members of a global network of bunker industry experts from various European as well as African countries.
