In the dynamic landscape of Ghana’s oil and gas industry, the role of the Petroleum Commission of Ghana (PCG) is pivotal. Recently, the PCG made significant strides by securing four deals for 3D data acquisition, marking a crucial advancement in the country’s exploration and production efforts. This achievement underscores Ghana’s commitment to harnessing its natural resources efficiently and sustainably. 

Eni Ghana Exploration and Production and Vitol Upstream Ghana have secured a favorable decision from an international arbitral tribunal concerning their unitisation dispute with the Republic of Ghana. The tribunal ruled in favor of Eni and Vitol, affirming their longstanding objections to the Ministry of Energy’s unitisation directives.

To commence, I would like to congratulate all our stakeholders- AI Energy employees, suppliers, contractors, customers, regulators etc, for the achievement so far, 539,888 Man-hours with no Lost Time Injury within the past five (5) years.

The GOGA Awards which were held on 8th December 2023 brought industry players together. These are awards given to excellent organizations as recognition for achievements within Ghana and beyond. 

AI Energy group, an Integrated Energy and Petroleum, Logistics and Support Services company in collaboration with International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) have provided training aimed at equipping bunker industry players to be able to provide excellent service in the sector. 

The training course formed part of the IBIA Africa Bunker and shipping conference held in Accra from September 5 to 7th 2023. 

AI Energy Group has called on stakeholders especially regulators to find lasting solutions to the challenges facing the bunker industry in order to attract buyers in the African markets.
