Mr. Francis Kwofie

Mr. Francis Kwofie is responsible for maintaining efficient Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental (QHSE) and Compliance management systems across the Company, AI Energy Group Limited. 

He holds an MSc in Safety and Environmental Management from Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland, UK and Bachelor of Education degree (Chemistry option) from the University of Education, Winneba- Ghana. 

On the bunkering front, he has in-depth knowledge and experience in bunkering operations in the Gulf of Guinea and the African enclave as well as across the globe. 

He liaises with the regulators, the legal team, international partners, and affiliate institutions to ensure that the team at AI Energy is abreast of developments in the bunkering industry to engender compliance with local and international regulations and standards. 

In 2020, his commitment to holding everyone along the value chain to high safety and quality standards provided motivation for the team to win the most coveted Ghana Oil and Gas Awards (GOGA)-Excellence in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (Upstream) Company of the year, even at the peak of the Corona virus pandemic. 

Francis has been involved in several industry meetings and seeks to contribute to actions that facilitate and maintain sustainable and safe maritime ecosystems.
